Bright
Futures at Georgetown University offers
a series of training modules for all health professionals
who
provide well-child care in a variety of settings, including
private practice, state or local health departments,
Maternal
and Child
Health (MCH) programs, and Medicaid's Early and Periodic
Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment (EPSDT).
Drawing
on the rich tradition of Bright Futures, the curriculum
features established content and philosophy for pediatric
preventive care as well as the most recent recommendations
for screening and periodicity as presented in the third
edition of the Bright Futures guidelines.
Designed
for use as self-directed tutorials or on-site group training
sessions, the curriculum consists of 10 half-hour modules
and can be taken for CME credit, CE credit, or for a certificate
of completion.
