- Monitor developmental
milestones and markers
- Screen with
validated tools
- Provide anticipatory
guidance and parenting tips
Users who complete
the Developmental/Behavioral Health module should be able to answer
the following questions:
- How often should
developmental/behavioral surveillance be performed?
- How can providers
help educate parents about their child’s development and
support effective parenting skills?
- What are the
major goals and concerns in each developmental stage?
- What are some
of the validated pediatric developmental screening tools available
for use with infants, children, and teens?
- What is the
role of anticipatory guidance in the promotion of healthy development?
