educators and promote partnerships between health professionals,
families, and members of the community.

This
publication provides practical, comprehensive guidelines
for promoting and improving the health and well-being of our
nation's children. Arranged according to stages
of development, the
book contains detailed information on developmental surveillance
and milestones, physical exams, screening procedures, and 2002
immunization recommendations.
